Dr. Karen Meckler

Dr. Karen Meckler is a Board-Certified psychiatrist with more than thirty years of clinical experience in a wide variety of settings.

In her private practice, the only insurance plans that she currently accepts are Medicare and Johns Hopkins Health Insurance. In all other situations, payment in full is required at the time of service. An invoice can be provided upon request if you would like to submit it to your own health insurance carrier.

Office hours are by appointment only. Consultations can be scheduled by emailing her at drkarenmeckler@gmail.com.

Cancellation Policy: Appointments must be cancelled with at least 24 hours notice (one full business day) or you will be charged full fee.

The main office is at the intersection of Stevens Forest and Santiago Roads in the Village of Oakland Mills, on the bottom floor of the building.

If you are seeing her at her home office, there is a path to the right of the garage as you are looking at the house. Follow that path around to the back of the house, and you’ll see her office door under the deck. You do not need to knock -- just walk in and have a seat in the waiting room. Please do not ring the bell for or come in through the front door of the house.
